Our speed ratings are calculated from sectional-adjusted times against course and going standards, so a fast time on soft ground at a stiff track is treated for what it is. Each runner carries three headline numbers — last run, career best and recent average — which together show current form, raw ceiling and consistency at a glance.

A race card you can actually work with

Sort any column to reorder the field instantly, filter out non-runners and first-time starters, and colour-coding highlights the standouts so the shortlist forms itself. Everything exports to CSV if you prefer to model in your own spreadsheet.

Is Inform Racing a tipping service?

A speed rating converts a horse's race time into a comparable figure by adjusting for distance, going, weight carried and the standard of the course, so performances from different days and tracks can be compared directly.

Which races do you rate?

Every race on every UK and Irish card, flat and jumps, published before racing each day.

How are your figures different from Racing Post or Timeform ratings?

Those are largely performance-based handicap assessments. Ours are time-based speed figures calculated independently, which is why many members use them alongside rather than instead of official ratings.
